KEP Trust, Chairman of the Board
Shpend Nura is Chairman of the Board of the MFI KEP Trust and member of AMIK Board since October 2017. He has 15 years of experience in the financial and consulting sectors. Previously, he worked for Interim Credit Unit (ICU), Raiffeisen Bank and Bank for Business in various managerial positions and functions. He has led various projects in the field of banking product development, information technology, advancement of processes / operations and capacity building of SMEs. He has completed bachelor studies at the University of Prishtina in Mechanical Engineering and holds a Master of Business Administration at the University of Sheffield, Thessaloniki branch. Has served as mentor for young entrepreneurs in CEED Kosovo and RTC / IFC projects for capacity building of SMEs and women in business. He also served as a lecturer at Universum and UBT colleges.
FINCA Kosovë
Ardian Kastrati comes to FINCA from ProCredit Bank, with 12 years of banking experience and more than 5 years in microfinance sector. He started his job as a Loan Officer in year 2000 at the ProCredit Bank Kosovo. He served as the Lending Manager for Agricultural and Micro Loans, Branch Manager for Peja region, Credit Division Manager for more than 5 years. He joined FINCA Kosovo in 2013 as Chief Operations Officer whereas starting from November 01, 2017 he serves as Acting Chief Executive Officer. Ardian has graduated at the IEDC – Bled School of Management, Slovenia, International Senior Management Program, part of the Executive MBA Program. He has graduated ‘Banking and Finance’ in Germany, at the ProCredit Bank Academy, as well as studied at the branch of Agriculture at the University of Prishtina, Kosovo.
Executive Director, AMIK
Shpresim Vranovci is a respected professional in banking and finance, with over 20 years of experience dedicated to creating a conducive environment for financing micro, small, and medium enterprises in Kosovo. As a consultant, creator, and manager of sustainable financial institutions, he played a vital role in the country’s economic recovery following the challenges of the 1990s.
He currently serves as the Executive Director of the Association of Microfinance Institutions in Kosovo (AMIK) since 2022, where he is dedicated to advancing financial inclusion and supporting the growth of the microfinance sector. Additionally, he teaches financial management and investment courses at the University for Business and Technology (UBT), helping students understand the essence of financial markets and investment strategies.
Mr. Vranovci has led investment departments at several well-known banks, contributing to the development and management of investment strategies in both local and international markets. He has also served as a Counselor to the Governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo and held significant positions at the National Commercial Bank (BKT), where he was part of executive management.. Furthermore, he served as Chairman of the Treasury Committee for the Association of Banks of Kosovo, demonstrating his leadership in the banking sector.
He holds a PhD in Economics and Economic Science from Université Nice Sophia Antipolis, reflecting his commitment to academic excellence. With his deep knowledge and expertise, Mr. Vranovci is a recognized contributor in the field of financial markets and has been involved in joint initiatives between financial institutions and the government to enhance the country’s financial infrastructure. His impactful work has contributed to increasing transparency and the development of financial markets.
CEO and Ex-Officio Member, Board of KGMAMF
Mr. Abul Kalam is the CEO of Kosovo Grameen Mission Arcobaleno Microcredit Fund (KGMAMF) since October 2015. He joined KGMAMF in December 2007 as the CFO. Before joining KGMAMF, he worked Grameen Bank in Bangladesh, founded by Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus in various Managerial positions since 1986. He also worked for five years as a consultant to implement Micro Credit Project in Myanmar (Burma). The project was directly implemented by Grameen Trust and funded by UNDP/UNOPS. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science and a Masters of Social Science from Dhaka University, Bangladesh. With 35 years working experience in home and abroad as a practitioner of Microfinance as well social business, he has a good understanding of poverty alleviation, livelihood issues and new entrepreneur development program.
CEO of Kreditimi Rural i Kosoves / Kosovo

- Have served as Executive Director of Kreditimi Rural i Kosovës (KRK) since 2004, leading the institution’s growth, strategy, and financial sustainability
- Prior to KRK, I coordinated the Rural Finance Project (2000–2003) under ADIE International, France, worked with Solidarités, France (1999–2001), on income generation and project management , worked on “BEC” Holding Gjakova/Kosovo as CEO of Poultry slaughterhouse and CEO and Agricultural production (1984-1998)
Manger, QELIM Kosovë
Mr.Karaqi is the manager of the Microfinance Institution - Qelim Kosovë since 2009, while has been part of Qelim Kosovë since 2006. During the period 2001 - 2006 he worked for Celim Milano on their microfinance mission in Kosovo. He graduated from the University of Prishtina in 1983 at the Faculty of Economy. His 18-year experience in the microfinance sector has enabled him to attend many trainings and programs addressing financial and non-financial needs of the low-income people and micro-enterprises in the country.
AFK
Mr. Anadolli is Executive Director of Microfinance Institution – Agency for finance in Kosovo (AFK) and since 2012 he is Chairman of the Board of AMIK. His professional experience includes 20 years of microfinance and leadership. He holds a Masters Degree in Management from the Dukagjini University in Kosovo. He also is Certified Expert in Microfinance and Certified Expert in Risk Management from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in Germany.
The Assembly is the highest governing body of the organization and it shall consist of all members of organization.
The Assembly has ultimate responsibility for the policies and financial affairs of the organization.
Apart from other powers as stated in this statute, the Assembly shall also have the following powers:
The Board shall be responsible for the control and management of the affairs and property of the organization. The Board of Directors shall consist of at least six (6) members from member organizations, who shall be individually elected by the members of the Assembly by a majority vote and shall have a term of two years.
